A leap to my dream

This could be a leap to my dream come true.

I have two opportunities to deliver a beautiful baby shower cake and a 100 days celebration at Grand Hyatt. Both are baby boys and I will use Tiffany blue for the cake.

The worst thing is both celebration only a day apart! This really makes me nervous. I. Will be super busy that week and could be no time for my Ying Ying.

Baby shower I will just bake a one tier cake with many layers in there, means it will be a tall one tier cake. To make it more interesting, Aaron has promised to make a sleeping baby with blanket on top. The cake will be layer with rich chocolate butter cream and caremel. Then will be finished up by some touch up of ribbons and lace.

The 100 days cake will be a three tier cake with Tiffany blue, white and dark purple as colour theme. Aaron will make a sitting or crawling baby on the cake top and I will do the detailing like quilting and lacing. Really really hope this can turn out to be good as there will be so many people there at Grand Hyatt. I don't want to embarrass myself and the host.

My Fireman Sam inspiration cake

This was my third attempt on fondant cake and turn out to be amazing! I'm so proud of myself and also a very important person I need to give credit to is my brilliant hubby. He is the one who help to make the fireman figure and give opinion on the fire engine deco.

With out him I wouldn't be able to deliver this beautiful cake to my best friend's son birthday on time. That figure took him few days to complete. Is because the fondant itself is soft and even it mixed with gum paste is still not much better. That few days was just nice to let the figure dry out and be able to stand beside tha fire engine cake. 

It is a hug cake with three layers of white chocolate mud cake and in between was cream cheese icing with dark chocolate flakes and whole cake coated with vanilla butter cream before it covered with fondant.

No doubt it was a tough task because there are some many elements on the deco but the end result was fantastic. We got everyone looking at the cake with an unbelievable look, that was priceless. I even got a few orders from friends after they saw this cake.

Would it be my first step to touch my dream? Really really hope one day it can be a dream come true to me, to have my own cake shop to make birthday and wedding cake.

开心的眼泪

昨天跟一个旧没见的好友吃饭，好开心！而更值得开心的是她再度怀孕了！我们俩抱着开心的眼泪都晃出来了。

一年前得知她七个月大得的宝宝胎死腹中。。。大家都无法接受这事实。我不懂怎么安慰她。。。

先在怀孕了我们都替她高兴。她会是一个好妈妈，做她的女儿肯定是世界上最幸福的孩子。希望她的宝宝身体键康。

小冬菇的第一步

我们家的小冬菇会走路了！隆重的宣布。。。六月十四日是她开步的第一天。

也是我开始辛苦的第一天。。。咳。。。熊猫眼没消过。

她现在很会讲话，搞得我们哭笑不得！我讲一句她跟一句很好玩。她还会学我笑真是拿她没办法。我们问她 "Do you love daddy?" 她讲 "Yea","Do you love mommy?" 她讲 "Yea"。CC 的carer 问 "Do you like me?" 她也讲 "Yea", 真是搞到人家很开心，我看她晚上会睡不着嘻嘻！

她就粘公公婆娑也会讲，逗得他们老人家多开心^_^

每天放工就是想着接她回家，kiss kiss 她抱抱她和她玩。

最重要的决定！

这次是马来西亚人民最重要的投票选举。身为马来西亚公民的一份子我们要来一次＂生死选＂！很遗憾的是我和老公没的投因为没有上网登记过所以在奥洲都没得去领事馆投票咳。。。
我个人很希望换掉这个已经腐败了55年的政府。是时候换了！Inilah kali！
大家醒来吧！不好的，腐败的，贪污的政府我们不要！还我们一个健康，干净和美好的国家！！
团结就是力量！做我们的责任，选个好政府，踢走那个臭＂垃圾＂！！！

My daughter's first birthday cake

Omg!!! I can't believe I did it! I made my daughter's birthday cake. What a satisfactory and I got a lot of compliments from friends.
My hubby and I spent 6 hours to assemble the cake and a week before already get the merry-go-round structure done. So that it can dry in sufficient time to put in the cake.
I learned a lot through this baking. Patience and organise are really important. I've made a mistake to only add 50% gum paste to the roof structure instead I have to just use 100%gum paste. Then I will have a more firmer roof.
But over all still a successful cake and party :)

DIY my own pedicure

I have been watching the video from YouTube on how to DIY a nice nail polish and after watched for almost 10 video I finally found a couple that I like and don't need a lot of time to do.
Started to feel the pampering even though I'm not in the shop and has people to pain my toe nail for me and relaxingly sipping a cup of chamomile tea.
After having my little girl I haven't got much time to sleep let alone pedicure. Now that she is in daycare I started to own back some of my time. Making my toe nails pretty that really makes my day :)
I though wish one day I can sit down with Charlotte and I pain my toe nails and her toe nails together with the same colour and design. Wearing our sandals out and showing people our pretty toes.... Just too cute.

上办的第二个星期

今天是上办的第二个星期，差点迟到。都是因为那个火车咯。幸好我走路快不然一定迟到的。而且我的上士今天七点半就到了。
总体来说今天还好，我做了和学了很多。算有收获啦！
希望她看得起我觉得我能干然后年尾加薪呵呵呵。。。
哎做工还有顾孩一起也挺辛苦的。。。 我要时间来适应啊。

她

除了我的家人和老公＂她＂就是我生命中最重要的人。
怀了九个月，去年的四月二十六日终于几竟辛苦的痛了24小时医生透过forcep把她给夹出来。还记得她出来时一声也不哭，老公还很紧张的问医生为什么baby不哭的。。。医生就笑笑地答这是你最后才要担心的事。过了不旧baby就哭要喝奶咯呵呵呵。。。
讲了这没久还没介绍她给大家，她就是我们家的千金「张雪莹」。
她带给我们很多的欢乐和笑声。人人都说有了孩子会有很多负担但我不这么觉得哦。当然生活会有所改变可是那些辛苦都是值得的。
很奇妙的就是她佣有了我和老公的样貌跟特征而拟照成的「她」，一个很特别的她。
虽然她未必是最漂亮的那个但我可以告诉你她是最可爱的baby。
然而有是候也很调皮，最喜欢欺负她公公。
她的可爱之处就是跳舞和摇屁股哈哈哈哈。。。。还有喜欢很热情的吻她喜欢的人。要当心她会吻你的嘴哦(^o^)
我希望透过这个blog我可以记录她的点滴和成长过程，以后就算我七老八十有老人痴呆征也可以回意起这些美好的事。
。。。如果我还记得这个blog的password啦。。。。

我的第一个很pro的蛋糕

上个星期我亲手做了个好漂亮的蛋糕给阿妹，她好高兴！ 哈哈。。。是一个对自己的肯定。只少我的技术又跨进了一步。

离我的梦想越来越进了。下一个目标是莹莹的生日蛋糕！ 这个一定要是最好的和最漂亮的哦。

还在想怎样的design。。。要elegant 的和独一无二的。还有还有要好吃的啦。

我的莹莹快要一岁了咯，＂大个女＂了！时间过得真是快喔，先在回想起我怀孕的日子好像是昨天的事而且哈哈哈。。。

要好好的加油哦不然莹莹的漂亮蛋糕就＂冬过水＂咯。
